Stable Isotope Analyzers
The determination of the isotopic ratio between stable isotopes requires a specific mass spectrometry technique.
In particular, they are suitable for the analysis of the relative isotopic abundance between stable isotopes of elements such as Carbon, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Hydrogen and Oxygen.
The so-called IRMS (Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer) systems consist of a magnetic sector mass detector, common to all possible configurations, and one or more peripherals depending on the applications and the type of matrices to be analyzed.

In particular, we are able to offer EA-IRMS, GC-IRMS and headspace – IRMS systems, in Continuous Flow mode, ideal for analysis in the agri-food, environmental, petrochemical, geological and flavors and fragrances sectors.
Our IRMS spectrometers are the most compact, easy to use and maintain and quick to install currently on the market.
IDMicro EA is the system composed of an elemental analyzer and IRMS detector for bulk analysis. Thanks to our elemental analyzers we are able to offer systems for analysis in micro mode (with the analyzers of the 40 series) or semi-macro mode (with the analyzers of the 80 series) for multi-element analysis C, N, S.
IsoLab is the system composed of a gas chromatograph and IRMS detector for compound specific analysis. The analysis of isotopes in specific compounds provides an in-depth insight into many geochemical and forensic applications and is considered a crucial technique for many laboratories.
IsoDelta is the software that manages all IRMS systems. IsoDelta makes it easy to understand analytical results, whether used as an automated control system for non-specialists or in its advanced mode, allowing the expert user to delve into the software for specialized data interpretation. From routine analysis to demanding research applications, IsoDelta makes data interrogation easy.
Iso70 is the system consisting of our 8070 Air CO2 analyzer and the IRMS detector: a unique system capable of determining the isotopic ratio of carbon in atmospheric air. The uniqueness of the system consists in the ability of the 8070 to sample a good quantity of air and therefore of CO2, making the analysis of the isotopic ratio easy.
