The new 8070 Air CO₂ is a powerful and useful instrument that can capture and separate relatively large amounts of CO₂ per sample (10 to 100 mg) in a short period of time (10 to 60 minutes). The automated processes make 8070 Air CO₂ particularly user-friendly, including automatic air pumping, adsorption and desorption systems.

The new C-Quantum CO₂ adsorption system uses an automatic regeneration system to treat large amounts of carbon dioxide, achieving more accurate results and higher performance than other systems. The 8070 Air CO₂ is particularly suitable for connection to other units and for determining isotope ratios of stable carbon isotopes and radiogenic 14C.
